  5. Social media takes the socialisation out of the socialisation. It's an easy way to get your needs met without really having to do anything. So we all fulfil our needs. Alone.

  6. Humans don't exist in a vacuum. You need at least a friend or a lover/family otherwise you're basically dead at that point. When people are asked the question "what would you do if you were the last human being on earth" most would either respond with "search for other humans", "eat, drink and do whatever I want" or "suicide", though suicide is the most common option. I've also seen some movies depicting this problem and usually they go wild for a bit but after a while become suicidal due to the isolation.

  10. I'm 23 and I've only had one close friend, that was in kindergarten, moved away and haven't seen him since. Otherwise throughout my school years I've had some "friends" that were basically people you talk with at school a bit but otherwise you pretend you don't know each other outside of school. I've been trying particularly hard to find friends lately and let me tell you, if it's online friends you want then sure, that's easy enough, however if you want somebody in real life you better hope they're the opposite sex (still very low chance but not impossible) otherwise you're not even a viable option, not even as a friend, because young people only care about online friends nowadays, if even. I keep trying to talk to other people but since I'm a guy I can't provide sex (I've never met any gay people in my entire life) so I have nothing that could be of interest to anybody. Personally I've never been interested in a romantic relationship/sex and I can't see that ever changing. It seems like video games are the only option
