They just want charity work by professionals. At that point you know you should have your business seized 😂

And younger workers who are also being filtered out due to their age as well

Never sacrifice yourself for a company. Borders work two ways, not only for the company when they feel like it

@trey8072 If you found a job that you like, odds are that your boss or other factors would make you hate it

@monkeyshinserman "Nobody is born taught what to do" Companies: "I beg to differ" 😂

How to get an entry level job Before: Walks in Are you the manager? When can I start? Them: Tomorrow, just tell me what's your size for the uniform Today: Hey, you're looking for employees right? Them: Yeah, just leave your CV, Motivational letter, BA, MS, references and 20+ years of experience documentation, I'll get back to you in 5 to 10 years

@lindaa9005 Manage your time? At a 9-5 + commute? There's not much time to manage to begin with. I guess if you don't do much at work you could have some energy left over but odds are once you're done with work, you're done for the day. This isn't living

Being public about this is the only way to ever change it. You won't do much about the issue if you never adress it
12
@miguelcondadoolivar5149 It's funny how that's the only thing that did trickle down after all. We're all sick and employers were the patient zero

It's wild to think that you spend 1/3 of your lifespan working an unecessary and thankless job for some shitstain CEO that will never know any of his slaves. Life is way too short to be wasting it on work, especially this kind of work
9
@lindaa9005 I don't know how people can just accept wasting their life away at work like that. Life is plenty short without the 8-10 hour work days
9
@youtubeuser1052 There are very few jobs that aren't unecessary or thanksless, which also happen to be usually the shittiest jobs to do (conditions/pay wise). Also saying that you don't have to work, in a world where not working is punishable by death, doesn't seem like sound advice to me

@BoogerLeader For real. People have been treated like dogs in the corporate world for so long that now that they see others standing up for themselves and not taking any of the corporate bullshit it's entitlement
4
Reminds me of the poor guy that worked at a company for 40 years and got 40 sausages as a gift 😂

@FracturedReality777 She wasn't dumb, she was brave. You create change by spreading awareness, not by shutting up and dealing with it. That's the reason why older generations fucked themselves over so bad and why we're inheriting a broken system. Don't be a conformist coward
4
@lindaa9005 Yeah, we've made tremendous progress since back then, but there's still more road left to be walked, especially as AI starts to become more mainstream and humans end up being obsolete in most fields, which should still be a while from now.

Just another day of Gen Z being failed by any and all figures of authority 😂

@aureyd2515 I genuinely wonder how do people even survive in 996. Just working is 12 hours a day, without accounting for commute and preparation time. You basically have up to a maximum of 4 hours per day to run all of your errands and that time is only during the night, when you're least likely to do anything. I guess they just have maids take care of everything or something

CEOs tripping over each other on their way to make recording being let off illegal:

Can't quit your job if you have none because no actual jobs exist 😂

@LadyCatFelineTheSeventh So bosses are unreasonable pricks but it's our responsibility that they're unreasonable pricks. Makes sense 😂

@Fohnzii Never said there wouldn't be, but I agree with you. Still though, AI maintenance is much better than flipping burgers and any of the other shitty jobs out there

They want desperate 30 year olds with 5 kids and a mortgage who won't be able to say no to any kind of buttfuck they wanna dish out while the person is also exceptionally good at their job and experienced 😂

@channul4887 9-5 is hard, especially with how shit pay and conditions are nowadays. The general trend with Gen Z is that they aren't used to being abused like old generations are, which may seem as being "spoiled". Pull yourself up by the bootstraps is so outdated, do better
