  1. I am 21 currently and just finishing up high school (delayed because of reasons outside of my control, thank you parents). I don't know what to do at this point, no goals or aspirations, my parents want me to move in with them to become a babysitter for their toddler, which is something that I'd hate with a burning passion, they're even going as far as guilt tripping me. I pretty much have to choose between shitty and shittier options, does it get worse than this?

  3. Same to be honest. All these self improvement videos that youtube is trying to shove down my throat at questionable hours seem as meaningless as the last one

  4. While I'm in my early 20s and I feel like I'm already at least 80 years old, minus the natural wisdom you get from living that much time :/

  5.  @Mixwell1983  Well that's mostly true but at 80+ years old it's rare to find somebody that hasn't at least gained some wisdom, obviously one can only gain wisdom proportionally to the level on which their mind is open towards it

  6. Boy am I glad I don't have to worry about stuff like making the most out of my life (or anything for that matter) as a completely detached person. In fact, it's actually quite satisfying to betray other people's expectations towards myself

  11. I still don't get this part, every time I listen to older people they either give obvious advice or advice that I've already heard a million times before. At this point the only decent conversations I can find are ones with people that specialize in philosophy to be honest
