Based. Let the house of cards fall so we can build something that's actually solid and not utter dogshit like this modern era

The modern world wasn't made with normal human beings in mind. Only billionaires and eventually robots
42
Their yachts are more important than the continued survival of the human race. Duh.
33
@merrymachiavelli2041 So the sheep are screwed either way. Might as well screw the wolves too I suppose
27
@da_copreee9929 Because we didn't. Billionaires are the new nobility, your average guy is the peasant. That's it.
19
@AronJF Yup, it's not that nobody wants to work anymore, it's just that nobody wants to give fair compensation for working anymore
19
@barondino4628 Found the delusional boomer 😂
17
If people didn't need to work 16 hours a day then maybe there would have been some time to mate. Either that or just increase the hours in a day I suppose 😂
14
@MaxP_88 Economic growth won't matter if only the owning class gets to benefit from it. Production keeps increasing while wages keep going down. Somebody is stealing the money that workers should be receiving
8
We just need to cut down on our luxuries like: checks list Food? Shelter? Healthcare?
6
@nonyabiziness You're only talking about a small percentage of people. A lot of people struggle to make ends meet while living frugally. The main issue is the cost of necessities as well as the lack of wage increases for decades now, not iphones or $120 plans

Final chapter of Capitalism for sure. Humanity will survive one way or another

@lifeisabadjoke5750 Or just good old hoeflation. Women want men that make more money than them, as women are now a majority that end up getting degrees and getting into high paying jobs. Essentially women will only accept millionaires, so 100% of the female population chasing 5% of the male population 😂
2
Or just don't take care of elderly people. Problem solved
2
@MyRedmamba 100% this. Young people are young people, they aren't retirement plan units. If young people can't afford to put food on the table then old people are done for
2
@barondino4628 Something is gonna have to give, whether that's the young people or the old people. The answer here is obvious, just saying ✋😂✋
2
Man that would have been so accurate if only Gen alpha wasn't a thing. Now instead of "Z" being the last it's "A" 😂
2
All courtesy of your one and only Capitalism. People ask me if I'd prefer that some are rich while most are poor, or that we all are equal and the answer is pretty obvious. Money is wasted on the rich
1
Ah yes, yet another problem young men face today is hoeflation. You better pray to whatever deity you worship that you're a 666 otherwise you don't get to reproduce

Billionaires: Haha that's so cute my little slave 🥰. Now go back to the mines
1
@barondino4628 We may need more children but the economy just doesn't allow it. It cannot support any more humans, the more we make the worse off all of us will be, while adopting at least doesn't contribute to this problem while also giving a better life to somebody that is already here. The population won't start improving until we go back to the days when you could have a house and raise an entire family on a single minimum wage, comfortably
1
@ganthc The economy was already a dumpster fire before young people even came of age. The largest generation in terms of population in human history made choices since they had the most people, it just so happened that those choices are on their way to destroy society itself. Now there's no way to undo that damage since it's the companies that own the government nowadays and companies don't care about votes, they can just pay to bend the law as they please
1
There already aren't enough young people to take care of the privileged class and soon there won't be enough to take care of the elderly. Great 😂.

@RadicallyGreen Nothing can make you immune to suffering, except death. But who is more likely to successfully avoid suffering? The guy that lives in a mansion, has the best health care available, the best opportunities available and people that love him for his money or your average homeless person that is just about to freeze to death on the street, all alone? It's the same argument as money being able to buy happiness or not. By itself it can't buy happiness but it can give you the conditions to achieve happiness, whereas poor Joe Mcshmuck over there that just got a deadly infection from getting bit by a rat on the street probably won't be finding happiness anytime soon, depending on if you view death as happiness I suppose
