Not that long ago there was small business all over US.. Corporations and the government off shored most factories and so many small businesses struggled to survive and they also put excessive regulations on them….

This is why my high school never taught about any European or world history it was heavily based in American History which focused on founding fathers and the battles with tons of dates reasons for the colonies existing and reasons for the battles were barely mentioned.

@EatLeadPal Yes, I spend a lot of time learning things that weren’t introduced or covered when in public school names like Bernay’s, Chomsky, Sowell, Rockefeller… it’s fun to research the history of people, companies, ideas and sometimes sources are very questionable I noticed the past few years changing narratives online right around 2016 and onwards
