Do you know why Nixon and Kissinger went over to China and started ping pong diplomacy? That’s a real question that I would like to know, and why did the UK start to off shore their manufacturing at the same time?

@johnrambo3831 They gave everyone else insurance that covers nothing compared to the “ Cadillac” policy they gave to themselves and their families. It destroyed what was and made it a thousand times worse. And then fined people if you were young and couldn’t afford it. Drove up the price of a policy and people lost their doctors, Now there’s a shortage of doctors, the whole medical system is a complete mess and they all know it. You should of seen the care people got in the 1980’s before big pharma and lawyers put a stranglehold on the profession

In US the income tax started 1861 because of the civil war a 3% tax on $800 or more than later modified to include graduated scale. It’s been out of control for years when all the taxes added up it’s in the 50% basically they tax the life out of people! A group that for the most part have never really worked in their lives. The amount of workers in federal, state,local adds up to around 20 million than add government contractors 15% of US employees working in Government! Before the off shoring of the US manufacturing industry and all that it supported the country was pretty great although over taxed .. there was many more options as to making income
