This is a geopolitics channel, all videos before this series pointed out the states and problems of other countries. China has a lot of issues, he's just showing the facts.

@nicolxiang Jeez, man, you can't really believe that right? In most places on earth, you can dig a hole in the ground and drink from it. Of course, especially if you can, and if you live near other people, you should boil the water first, just to be sure. China and south asia's water quality is horrible, but it could be better if industry and waste was better managed by the government.

@nicolxiang Water treatment plants are for human waste management, at least in the first world. There aren't "so many of them" Asia has the worst polluted waters in the world because of their high population and unregulated growing industry and their lacking human waste management. The need for waste and pollution control has been one of the key issues in countries around china, but China just pretends it doesn't need it because protesting is illegal.

@nicolxiang No, clearly not. we could be better at this, but considering that most of America is a floodplain, and nearly a quarter of it is swamps, it's good that we've gotten to the point where we only get 32 floods. Unlike you, I won't defend my country no matter what. If any country gets floods, they did not have the infrastructure to prepare for them. China had catastrophic flooding, America had 32 minor seasonal floods. We could all be doing better, but that will never happen in China if the communist elite leadership that clearly do not care for the people remain in power.

@nicolxiang The american government recognizes its problems, and americans highlight these issues to be solved, meanwhile, you'll never find any of this about China because their government simply won't allow for such things to be so easily found. 40% Is still much better than China's 100%. We're at 40% pollution, because in the year 2005 it was found to be 50%, so we did something about it, and we are getting cleaner water. Meanwhile, the Chinese and the Chinese government knows it has a water quality problem, but instead of fixing it, they simply ignore it.

@nicolxiang He literally listed his source when he showed any statistic. A study from 2016 is not outdated, especially since China's circumstances haven't changed at all since then. Anyways, how do you know what year this data is from if you don't see any sources? Your doublethink is hilarious.

Not true, they would've been making a killing having poor countries pay them to make it rain, plus they would never have droughts, and their desertification problem wouldn't be. They don't have it. If they do, show proof.

The sea belongs to no-one. China has a 100 mile EEZ just like everyone else. Taiwan is an island with Taiwanese people who don't want to be part of China, they have their own democratic government, and have a military to stop China from taking their land. War games wouldn't be happening if China wasn't doing sea invasion drills to prepare for Taiwan.

Yes, a particularly rainy season did cause flooding in the southern regions, but this isn't usual, and apart from that, China continues on a trend of lowering water levels. Even deserts flood sometimes. The only thing this goes to show is that the Chinese were not prepared for such conditions, and they could not store or use this water to their advantage long-term.

It's a bad situation for sure, but not nearly as bad as china, and it's concentrated in the most arid states, while we get more rain in other states. Plus the fact that most people see the issue and state governments are actively doing something about it is better than China's inefficient central action.

China will be affected more than everyone else. Their economy is not developed enough to have one grandson maintain 2-3 people like Japan or Europe does.

Replacing your people with different people doesn't help the issue. When those people inevitably rise up the economic ladder, they will pursue their own culture's goals and interasts, dividing the nation. We've been brainwashed to not think about such an obvious thing.

@ihavenojawandimustscream4681 Most water is used for farming and industry, and since America is basically the breadbasket of the planet, and still a relative industrial powerhouse, it uses more water than china, even if it is more efficient at it. We also need to take into account that America is the center of innovation for the world, and that water desalination and advances in energy technology will all be pioneered by Americans, especially with the economic opportunities a water crisis would provide.

@sw9276 You can definitely predict stocks long term, and we literally get highly accurate predictions of the weather a week in advance every day lol. I couldn't convince you that China has problems if I was beating you over the head with them. You don't want to be convinced, you won't even look at the objective facts here. I don't think that the Chinese are "present-oriented" but I do think that because of the colossal government power, they are unable to act to better the future. Chinese industry is the most inefficient and wasteful in the world, a result of lax government regulation a general lack of competition. American food waste is indeed a large issue, but it's a better issue than China's food import reliance. As shown in the video, with dozens of studies proving it, the Chinese government has said they have taken steps to fix these problems, but they either haven't or have done so very slowly and inefficiently, as there has been an increase in pollution and waste, rather than a decrease. This talk about work, talk and respect, sounds a lot like propaganda, as it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Americans are the 10th most working nationalities, and that coupled with our work efficiency, makes us the best workers out there, and we also get one of the best work environments, benefits, and retirements around the world. The Chinese don't make it in the top 40, and their efficiency is laughable, along with their lack of proper work comp, benefits, insurance, or retirement. The CCP clearly cares little about its working people, so you shouldn't care about the CCP elites.
