There is no way any covid vaccine is at all as safe as any other common vaccine which went through decades of rigorous safety testing.

Since nicotine itself is not harmful (other than its withdrawal symptoms) it just seems to me that nicotine is getting safer and safer while we're getting more addicted. I wouldn't be surprised if in 100 years nicotine addiction is as common and harmless as caffeine
