Rome fell long before the Huns. It was divided and mismanaged. Roman culture and Roman values had been diluted by immigrants for centuries, which caused the Romans to lose their warrior culture, and pay others to fight for them. The Romans paid the Huns to fight off Germanic tribes, but as instability took over the western empire, which had been long been separated from the eastern empire, Byzantium, the Huns saw an opportunity, and simply walked into Rome, and no one really did anything about it, because the western empire was already falling apart. The Romans had kept the Germanic and nomadic tribes out of their lands for millennia, the Huns were not special, and having a reunited China defeat them means nothing. The eastern empire survived, because it was not filled with Germanic immigrants, and they mostly kept their homogenic warrior culture. Rome fell, the Huns were a symptom, not a cause.

The west has a big problem with education. We've been convinced by a myth that a nation isn't made up of anything other than the ruling government, but that's not true. The Jewish nation moved around for centuries, without a state, then they reconquered their "homeland". Hungarians lived out in the middle of bumfuck Russia for millenia and slowly migrated east until they came to where they are now. There are many examples of this. My point is that basically, just because you are born within the borders of a nation, it does not make you that nationality. Look at for example Mennonites/Amish in america. They were born in america, and they could claim citizenship (most don't) but they are not American. Few know English, they have no connection to the culture whatever, they know nothing of American history, and they have not and will not ever sacrifice themselves for the nation.
Nations aren't vague. They're real. They are comprised of millions of individuals who share culture, history, language, and religion. To claim someone who's parents migrated to England is somehow English is just baffling. He was not English in any way.
Anyways, his attack was the straw the broke the camels back. Mass stabbings, r4pe, crime etc. has been out of control over there for years, and whether the government wants to admit it or not, it is obvious who the perpetrators are. The Enlish have a right to be angry

@guens01 China has both a history and a present habit of doing that. The CCP has destroyed other Chinese cultures and replaced them with those of the Chinese, they have erased Nepal and Nepalese culture, are killing millions of Uighur Muslims, suppressing and oppression their own population, they have just dismantled the democracy in HK, and are threatening Taiwanese invasion. I wasn't around when Columbus found America, or when conquistadors toppled the largest empire in the western hemisphere, or when millions of natives died due to disease and were moved to reservations, but we're both here now, when China is being actively colonialist, and is it our duty to ensure freedom for all.
Funny of you to tell me to wake up and beware, as it is clear you're less than informed on this topic, but hey, you and I can both chose whether or not to be ignorant, but the Chinese have no choice but to eat up all the BS propaganda their overlords give them.

@courtingblues3740 First off, England isn't America or Europe, it's England, and furthermore, we're talking about a single person, a king who ordered these things to be done. America, Europe, and modern Great Britain have nothing to do with the exploitation of China.
British conquest of China also, was not fascist, as there was no genocide or colonies, which is what differentiates imperialism from fascism.
Taiwan is not an American puppet state. Taiwan is an American ally. America needs Taiwanese manufacturing, and Taiwan needs American protection from the CCP. If they wanted to join the CCP, they could.

@qiushiliang4844 The Rome people usually picture, is Imperial Rome, before it began splitting. If you matched a united Rome against a divided China, of course Rome would win, it's just unfair. So, to be roughly equal, we pit united imperial rome, against united China.
Rome: Superior navy, more production, better metalworking, better food supply and more advanced farming, superior numbers, stronger, taller men, more military experience, better communication and organization, military tactics, personnel training, soldiers had standardized equipment that they did not have to pay for, far better pay, colonization experience, better trade routes and more diverse economy, less autonomous government, and a hierarchy based more on merit than birth, more mobile army, superior horse breeds, better climate conditioning, siege, occupation, urban, mountain, and rural tactics and experience, knowledge of guerilla warfare, raiding and terrorism, chariot army and tactics, as well as better archers.
China has more people, which needs more food, and often starves, along with a nobility that will split off and try to gain control of their country.
The real issue is that you think China has ever been more powerful than anyone else. China has been plundered, raped, and exploited by everyone you can think of for all of history.
China always loses.

America and China are the world. If one falls, the other does too, and by extension the rest of the world order, which will be catastrophic. This isn't Anglo-centric (technically that means England but I understand what you meant) it's just the truth.
Agriculture is a massive problem. You can't just switch from one agriculture to the other, even in the best industrial 1st world conditions, it would take a year, which would still cause massive starvation and supply chain disruption. The problem is that the dominoes are perfectly set up to fuck up the current world order, which will be bad, but it won't be the end of the world. Oil-producing nations rely on Russian and Ukrainian food, which they won't get this year, which will lead to death, and as a result dramatically decrease oil exports, causing economic collapse around the globe, which then turns into a feedback loop for a couple horrifying years.
Crude oil futures predict oil price dude... if the oil costs more, that means there's less of it to fuel the economy. Apart from a couple outliers, the ME is far from having "unlimited funds." Even if they had the money, more food doesn't just show up out of nowhere, it takes years to build up what'll easily be a quarter of the food grown around the globe. Starvation in the 3rd world and economic hardship is basically certain once winter comes around and last year's harvest runs out.

@Αλεξανδρος17 This is all bullshit. Government or corporations, when few people hold power, us normal people tend to get fucked over hard. Unions taking over planning the economy is different from wallstreet pigs controlling it, how, exactly? It's still few people gaining too much power without any reason. There are no differences between the workers and the rich. We have a democracy, that may have a bias towards the rich right now, but if we didn't allow money in politics, we would have representation for everyone. If the worker class took over, then they would, and have, become the ruling class. Wealth distribution is bullshit. Unearned money devalues money itself, and the government (a small group of people) shouldn't have the power to steal my property. Human exploitation is already banned you fucking coconut. What do we have the government for? Regulation. We don't need the government to have insanely authoritarian control over us to keep corporations in check. We already have them under control. Profit does NOT equal exploitation. Just because you work for me, and I take your product and profit from it, doesn't mean I am exploiting you. For me to profit from it it is necessary to: give you a job, invest time and money, and make the product competitive in the market so that more capital is produced, while the worker only needs to come in to work and do what he is told.
You are lying about reading. I know you are because I am well read myself and know that if anything, Maoist china was MORE authoritarian and communist than the USSR. The USSR did NOTHING but give power to their ruling class and kill over millions in the Holodomor, general starvation of the public, and unjust killings, incarceration and slavery. Tens of millions died because of the implementation of the failed communist ideal in USSR alone, ignoring WW2. Communism causes death and stagnation. The USSR was no different from the empire before it. A dictatorship/oligarchy which oppressed its people.
You know nothing. Go read a book, stop being brainwashed by those looking to gain power through your envy of the rich.

Listen, I'm going to try to explain this so that you can understand it. You cannot control an entire country and its people with tanks, jets, battleships and drones or any of these things that you so stupidly believe trumps citizen ownership of firearms. A fighter jet, tank, drone, battleship or large military asset cannot stand on street comers and enforce martial law. A fighter jet cannot kick down your door at 3AM and search your house for contraband. The US's conventional armed forces cannot maintain the needed police state to completely subjugate and enslave the people of our nation.
Those weapons are for decimating, flattening and glassing large areas and many people at once and fighting other state militaries. The government does not want to kill all of its people and blow up its own infrastructure. These are the very things they need to be tyrannical assholes in the first place. If they decided to tum everything outside of Washington D.C. into glowing green glass they would be the absolute rulers of a big, worthless, radioactive pile of shit.
Police are needed to maintain a police state, boots on the ground. No matter how many police you have on the ground they will always be vastly outnumbered by civilians which is why in a police state it is vital that your police have automatic weapons while the people have nothing. When every random pedestrian could have a Glock in their waistband and every random homeowner an AR-15 all of that goes out the fucking window because now the police are out numbered and face the reality of bullets coming back at them from literally everywhere.
If you want actual examples, look at every insurgency that the U.S. military has tried to destroy. They're all somehow still around with nothing but illiterate farmers armed with old soviet AKs, shitty pick up trucks, and improvised explosives because the big scary US military is actually all but fucking useless for dealing with anything except other conventional armies.

@Sonia Dey India is a net food exporter, they have more than enough food for everyone.
As industry leaves China because of rising labor costs, India is in a position to benefit and develop incredibly quickly as they industrialize.
Industrialization is a hard time, and standards of living may even drop for a while due to urbanization, but it is inevitable and it is absolutely worth it.
America during industrialization had average birthrates in the double digits, which just further fueled the economy and industrialization. India must take advantage of this, if they do, they will have an economic boom the likes of which have never been witnessed in all of history.
A poor, rural nation, cannot afford more education, better training, and more efficiency and skills. The only way to acquire the money and capital to move forward is to industrialize. There is no way of going around it, and it will be better the more workers India has.

@guens01 The biggest misunderstanding you have, is that america is all one hivemind people unable to speak out against their totalitarian government. There are democrats, republicans, libertarians, socialists, fascists, and yes, even communists who all have a right and freedom to speak and debate as they wish, and as time goes on and difderent parties come to power, different actions take place. Just because we invaded some nation doesn't mean all americans agree to that, most of the time, not even a majority of people agree with what is happening. America is not a singular entity, it is a union. It is not the same as other nations.
Now, the same corrupt polititians lying about WMD's are the ones that want to be buddy buddy with the CCP. CNN and NBC and all the other leftist democrat biased telecoms are the most supportive and leniant "news" networks in regards to china. They lie about nearly everything, yes, but it rarely has anything to do outside our political uphevals here in the states. I don't support or trust these, or any MSM. Neither does the vast majoroty of americans.
The fact you think that these biased networks have anything to do with our government is highly ignorant, and shows your chinese bias. American news are 99% of the time critical of the government, and they and everyone else can do it because they have the right to do so. Any lies by the MSM is not american government lies, it is the network's lies.
Taiwan and Hong Kong are chinese? Really? Then why were the people of Honk Kong protesting for more than a year against the "reunification"? Why did everyone vote AGAINST it in their government? HK begged Trump to aid them but the US government did nothing but acknoledge their existance. Something they have yet to do with the FREE INDEPENDENT NATION OF TAIWAN. Taiwan is so Chinese, they have their own economy, currency, borders, navy, air force, army, and government!
Taiwan wants nothing to do with the CCP, who are you to say otherwise? Oh that's right, you're nothing, because you have no say in your governments policy. Have fun getting shipped off to die in a war for the sake of dear leader Winnie the Pooh.

The issue with political commentators is that they rarely have to actually debate what they believe, as the opposing side will never listen to them anyway. It's less so for the right which is much more splintered ideologically, but clearly, Matt here could've easily prepared his point.
Basically, I agree with Matt because if we don't have marriage as a system of family creation, we won't have civilization. We need to create future generations and raise them correctly so that our nation can continue to exist. If we erode the meaning of marriage into simply doing it because it feels good, we stray from the ultimate goal of maintaining everything we've built up so far. If you do not upkeep things, they will always, always break down. Allowing marriage to be undefined is the first step into catastrophic failure. We will live to see the results of not having a strong next generation as soon as a decade or two as China, Russia, and eventually, Europe degenerates due to population collapse. Family is the foundation of civilization. Marriage is the foundation of the family. We did not maintain marriage, and as a result, modern families are degrading. Soon, this will cause our nations and cultures to become so unkempt that at best war and poverty will become the norm, and at worst western civilization will collapse entirely.
There is no guarantee we can't collapse as dozens of advanced civilizations had before. If we don't work for it, it will disappear. Marriage is the first domino, and it has already fallen.

The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in “advanced” countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject human being to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in “advanced” countries. The industrial-technological system may survive or it may break down. If it survives, it MAY eventually achieve a low level of physical and psychological suffering, but only after passing through a long and very painful period of adjustment and only at the cost of permanently reducing human beings and many other living organisms to engineered products and mere cogs in the social machine. Furthermore, if the system survives, the consequences will be inevitable: There is no way of reforming or modifying the system so as to prevent it from depriving people of dignity and autonomy. If the system breaks down the consequences will still be very painful. But the bigger the system grows the more disastrous the results of its breakdown will be, so if it is to break down it had best break down sooner rather than later. We therefore advocate a revolution against the industrial system. This revolution may or may not make use of violence; it may be sudden or it may be a relatively gradual process spanning a few decades. We can’t predict any of that. But we do outline in a very general way the measures that those who hate the industrial system should take in order to prepare the way for a revolution against that form of society. This is not to be a POLITICAL revolution. Its object will be to overthrow not governments but the economic and technological basis of the present society. In this article we give attention to only some of the negative developments that have grown out of the industrial-technological system. Other such developments we mention only briefly or ignore altogether. This does not mean that we regard these other developments as unimportant. For practical reasons we have to confine our discussion to areas that have received insufficient public attention or in which we have something new to say. For example, since there are well-developed environmental and wilderness movements, we have written very little about environmental degradation or the destruction of wild nature, even though we consider these to be highly important.

@妮姆芙-o3z Is this how Chinese people think?
"Oh no, I'm being shot, better call the government" LMAO
All those shootings happen in mismanaged cities where unconstitutional laws have been enacted to stop normal people from having guns to defend themselves.
5 million lives were saved last year. Did you know that? Who do you think saved those lives? The government LOL?
No. 5 million lives were saved because people had firearms to defend themselves. Free American patriots don't wait for daddy government to show up when things need to get done.
America isn't just one place with one government. In Chicago, thousands die due to bad education, shitty police, and illegalization of self defense. Meanwhile, in a different state, under a different county, in my city, we never have gun violence, and usual reports of crime are about car collisions or drunken fights. This is because Chicago has a soulless mayor, with a shitty commissioner, under a godless state governor, while a continent away, where I live, we have a population of pious Americans who follow the constitution and rely on ourselves, not the government, for everyday living.
Can ski masks hide faces? Then why are thieves caught? You see how your question doesn't make sense?
Not being traced takes a lot more than just not having a real IP. It wouldn't matter anyways, because I haven't done anything to ever warrant an investigation, and if it did, having means to protect my privacy would be no grounds to arrest me.
I'm proud of AMERICA. I'm proud of AMERICAN LIBERTY. I'm proud of MY RIGHTS, and my AMERICAN VALUES.
"Your" government kills your people needlessly, takes your freedoms away, starves you, kidnaps you, arrests you, and massacres you simply when your overlords feel like it.
I'm not proud of corporations influencing American foreign policy, but I'm proud of the fact that we can and we are changing that. We won't have more oil wars, we pulled out of the middle east. Americans clamor to stop our "president" from sending American tanks rolling over Ukraine and Moscow. Democracy is slow, but it is steady. We might make mistakes, but the government is weak on purpose, so that it cannot simply turn around and run our protestors down in tanks, or lock us down into starvation, like the Chinese government has done and will continue to do.
Nothing is perfect, but America is as close as it gets to being a perfect nation, and we are certainly the most free, which makes us the best.
A quote which Americans live by, said by Benjamin Franklin, a Founding Father, goes "Those who give up freedom in exchange for safety deserve neither and will lose both." What do you, as a Chinse person, think of that quote?

There's been many right wing attacks on infrastructure, leftist riots, the assassination of a republican councilwoman in NJ, and many small decentralized attacks on civilians by mostly the left. The left has already began collectively waging a decentralized guerilla and culture war, while the right is basically doing nothing. Only once the right realizes that peaceful debate is useless will we see daily shootings, firefights, bombings, and assassinations. If the right was as active and violent as the left, their superior equipment, experience, preparation, resources, and locations would lead to every city becoming a warzone, and there would be guillotines in DC within months.
The corporatist government is unable to disarm the population, and is instead slowly chipping away at all other rights and values, slowly adding fuel to the fire. Once the right snap, it's not going to be pretty, and I doubt that the results will be acceptable, even by the standards of the most far-right radicals.

@freddy4603 Lending / banks / insurance is a sure way to create a massive gap between pricing and reality. Since everyone can get a home through lending, it encourages lenders and constructors to compete for higher, not lower prices, since the amount of money a person has over a period of multiple decades is much more than what they'd have in the moment of a home purchase. This is also the problem with college and health costs. Due to lending (college) and insurance (Healthcare), the institutions providing education and health are encouraged to raise prices constantly, because they are separated from the consumer's money through the cumulative wealth of lenders.
If there was no such thing as a mortgage, the housing industry would be forced to find ways to lower prices through increasing supply or cost efficiency. If there were no college loans, then higher education would be forced to find ways to lower the cost, again, through increasing supply or cost efficiency. Lastly, if insurance were not a thing, then all industries which typically gain most of their profits from insurance payouts would also be forced to lower their costs to adjust to consumer demands.

The Chinese cannot keep growing. Due to insanely idiotic American foreign industrial policy, we are falling back to the natural state of the world, where there would be multiple dominant powers, as is the norm throughout history. China is not going to take over, the world is simply coming to a balance, and the CCP got lucky. Once their economy starts to plateau as other developing countries have cheaper labor than them (this is already happening), the Chinese people's trust and acceptance of the highly corrupt and oppressive CCP government will wain, especially as Chinese demographics collapse, their housing bubble pops, and their water crisis begins. Because all of this is projected to happen soon, I doubt that the CCP will last past the 30s, though it is likely conflict will break out as they grasp at straws.

@brennenmcginn8679 What? He clearly cares very little about this channel. This is his side gig lmao, he's some kind of consultant who clearly has a good network, and according to his large home which he showed in some
Marginalized communities? You think they care about you? I don't. My ma is white, so I'm white, so as a person in between all this let me tell you right now, nobody will care about your kindness. Latinos and blacks switch political parties for convenience. Once the muslim scare of the 2000s wore off, the islamic community went back to voting red.
The reality is that it's you and your family, your people, against everyone else. It's not as bad as it used to be, since the pie grows bigger every day, but competition will happen, and if you allow it to, your work, and all your ancestor's sacrifice will be erased by a foreign conqueror if you allow it.
I don't care who he hangs out with. He could be the president of the KKK for all I care. He brings up interesting points and that's all that should matter.

The problem is that yes, social justice and communist groups ARE a bulk of our society, in the same way that you might say evangelists and proponents of social rights are a big part of our society. For every 1 communist, there are 10 socialists, for every 1 socialist, there's 100 leftists. For every 1 evangelist, there's 10 devoted Christians, and for every Christian, there's 100 agnostics. It's a pyramid of belief, and if it is founded upon incorrect beliefs, the structure will collapse. Though most of LA isn't socialist, it's leadership is, because most of LA has a leftist foundation, and is also mostly separated from reality.
For us to truly progress, we must both have a successful moral foundation as well as no separation from truth and reality. America isn't a single nation. Our political split goes much deeper than policy. It is a cultural split, and that cultural split will separate until we tare apart violently. The left is incapable of solving any issues because their political foundations are based on incorrect moral beliefs. The left may hold power for a while, but when reality comes knocking, the right will not hesitate to raid and conquer leftist cities.
When the next great depression comes, countryside folk will hoard food and conquer cities and the political system until they take full control of the culture and nation. This is inevitable, because the left cannot do anything productive, and will eventually be overtaken by reality, and those who can persist through it.

@sapiently1 Why do you argue fairness is good? Applied fairness in history has shown to be the opposite of good, while allowing people to work and pass down what they have built through generations of labor is what allows societies to flourish. If people aren't allowed to sacrifice themselves for the future of their children, they won't, and society will crumble.
You do not deserve the full value of your labor, as if it were not for an entrepreneur investor, your labor would be worth much less or nothing at all. The owner takes a cut, because if he didn't buy a machine, you wouldn't be able to operate it to produce 1000x as much product as you would've without it. Safety nets lead to complacency and weakness. If people are not responsible for themselves, and give the responsibility to the government, when the government inevitably falters, people will not be independent enough for society to break down.
If you can't carry your own weight, you are dammed. If people want to donate to help people, let that be their choice instead of making it a crime to not pay them.

@richardchurchill5181 Industrialized agriculture does not consume more land than grazing cattle, which would make the supposedly environmentally friendly grazing cattle argument false, since if you just had less cattle, and replaced them with fake plant meat, you would free up more land for natural habitats, because farming is inherently more efficient than cattle. This also does not take into account more compact forms of vertical farming which we'll have to make use of when colonizing other planets. Interplanetary colonization is far from a pipe dream. We've had the technology to go and colonize mars for decades, and we've simply chosen not to. We can create all the air, water, and materials needed to live on mars right now, but dirt, we won't be able to, for a long time. As people colonize mars, meat will be very expensive, so it would be preferable for the average Martian to have lab grown or plant-based meat than expensive imported stuff. Space colonization is still vital for our survival, every day we spend on this rock is another chance for extinction.

@connerb7848 If nobody makes stuff, then there is no stuff. It is that simple. If we do not want to be dominated by foreign powers with much higher production then us, we need industry. We also cannot continue unchecked migration while not having any real industry. A healthy and powerful economy should have both, but when it comes down to brass tax, the country that makes your stuff can stop selling you said things and focus on producing for themselves or their military. Basically, if we do not have industry, we do not have hard power.
Corporatism has inflated the prices of many things, higher education and healthcare being the main two. What you call "capitalism" is not capitalism at all. In capitalism, there should be lots of competition, which boosts innovation, productivity and wages. What we have now is corporatism, where large companies can never fail, and have little to no completion, and will always get taxpayer money if they need it.
If we had industry, only having a HS diploma would not be a problem, as you could get a job in some manufacturing sector. This is exactly what Germany is doing, though we should do it at a much larger scale for the best effect.

@connerb7848 1: Yes, it is true, and it led to the worst-of-both-worlds government backed corporatist system we have today. 2: Yup, also true, I just replied to your reagonomics and deindustrialization statement, reagan's policies combined with the previously established government overextension into the private sector to create the shitstorm we have today and, yes, kind of slow down deindustrialization.
We should have a government that regulates corporations, it's not that big a deal. We have rightful regulation for the sake of workers and consumers, and we stop monopolies. It's not that complicated.
We don't have to force them to come back. There are plenty of industrial opportunities in america, if we were just more protectionist of out markets, our industries would grow. There isn't a set amount of industry in the world, some will return, some will be new.
By making tariffs on countries with unregulated markets with cheaper labor, we will protect our own market, and technically protect the workers of the world from being exploited by corporations.
Where I am going with this is:
Capitalism cons: If unchecked, will exploit and monopolize
Capitalism pros: due to competition, it provides the most innovation, and productivity.
If we just regulate corporations so they cannot exploit or monopolize, we will have the best of capitalism while not suffering any of its cons.
This does not mean that is the system currently in place. They system currently in place has capitalists with unchecked control over the government, so they really can do whatever the fuck they want, and are exploiting the American people as we speak.
Wanting more capital is not necessarily a force of good, but it can be harnessed for it. There is no competition now, the system is flawed, but in a better system, we would break up our monopolies so that we have competition, and we would regulate them fairly, and not allow them to control the government. There, all the issues with capitalism fixed without any authoritarian government oversight. Best of both worlds. Get me now?

@rgonzalo511 You got the stats wrong by an order of magnitude, it's 10% to 30%
I disagree that taking women's rights away will not solve the problem. It is clear women, given the choice, will not have enough children to maintain society. Unfortunately, society cannot allow for that choice, because it brings us to the situation we're in now. Yes, it's nice that women have rights, and they should, but if they do, then society will crumble.
That's one of the many problems we have in modern civilization. Sacrifice civilization for women's freedom, or sacrifice women's freedom for civilization.
I think simply not allowing women to work (or making it extremely difficult or limited) would be the best solution. Something like forcing companies to pay women a much higher wage than men should do the trick. This'll make it so outlier women can be productive, while the average women would have little choice other than pick a good man and stay at home to create a family.
What do you think bro?

@Maxawa0851 These workers need tools, 3%, the machines need to be bought and upkept 10%, then products need to be packaged, so 1% more, then they need to be moved to port 5%, then they need to be shipped 10%, and they must be marketed 30%. Overall, the profit would be around 60%, which really isn't much since you are selling less than 10,000 dollars worth of products every year for a lot of time and effort.
1
-
@Maxawa0851 It just takes time. Yes, they are not paid very well, they can live off it, though not at a very good standard though.
The solution n just takes time, and it involves basically doing what China has taken advantage of, without the authoritarianism, population control, or corporatism:
India's population need to keep growing. As it grows, labor will be cheaper, so industry will move there. India has a much younger and bigger population than China, so their industrial boom will be much bigger and better for the people than in China, and will last much longer.
As long as India doesn't stifle their population growth, they may be the next world superpower by the end of the century.

@Sonia Dey India is not producing food industrially. People can't afford to buy food. How do you give people more money, more food, and more jobs? Industrialization. The more people you have, the more industry comes because labor is cheaper.
Chinese population is becoming richer, meaning that industrial production there is getting much more expensive than in India and SE Asia.
China's population control is why they are doomed, no matter what they do. In 10 years time, they will have very few young workers, most of which will not be relatively unskilled, and they will have to bear the weight of twice the number of elderly and retirees as workers, which will cause their entire society to collapse shortly after they go on their empire-building rampage across Asia.
Chinese industry and labor costs have been rising dramatically since 2000, and they have been slowly losing their industry since then as well. This is why the CCP elites want to conquer Asia, to maintain their waning power. The coronavirus pandemic still made them take a big economic hit, but it may ultimately be worse for them in the long term, as even with extreme authoritarian lockdowns, coronavirus still infects tens of millions in China, and kills tens or even hundreds of thousands there.

@therealdeal2163 You obviously know fuckall.
The war was over slavery. We outlawed it. There was racism. We outlawed it.
Today we have protests over problems, which we vote for and solve.
America can't "paper over the cracks". Unlike China, the american press is not controlled by the government, and in fact, constantly points out any issues that arise.
China has a dozen catastrophes, and the government isn't even pretending to care. They are straight-up pretending it isn't an issue.
The US and US market loves China, the only thing demonizing China is themselves. Everyone hates the CCP, because unlike their citizens, we can see their imperialistic, authoritarian, jingoist and genocidal tendencies and actions.

Ahjot Ahjotson
Out on a march, in the morning
He called his soldiers down
To take aim at the traitors
To gun those rebels down
Now they’ll face the consequences they held themselves above;
This is the will of the people!
He said
"I wish I could spare them, make them see the path."
"But tempting as that sounds, I’ll have to pass."
"I know what’s needed for the good of my people,
To save them."
Out in the dark, without warning
He raised his fist above
Let a cry to his people
To tear those statues down
Now they’ll face the consequences they held themselves above;
This is the will of the people!
He said
"I wish I could spare them, make them see the path."
"But tempting as that sounds, I’ll have to pass."
"I know what’s needed for the good of my people,
To save them."
Now drop your arms and march for them
Face the wall, and bow your head
If you have any last words, let them be said
Out on a march, in the morning
He called his comrades down
To take aim at the traitors
To gun those fascists down
Now they’ll face the consequences they held themselves above;
This is the will of the people!
He said
"I wish I could spare them, make them see the path."
"Blessed were those days we held in vein."
"I’d give it up for a chance at redemption!"
As the cycle turns again
You’ve seen it before, now you’ll see it begin
But hate begets hate, the violence stirs again
You think it ends here? Just wait, my friend…

@sw9276 You can definitely predict stocks long term, and we literally get highly accurate predictions of the weather a week in advance every day lol. I couldn't convince you that China has problems if I was beating you over the head with them. You don't want to be convinced, you won't even look at the objective facts here. I don't think that the Chinese are "present-oriented" but I do think that because of the colossal government power, they are unable to act to better the future. Chinese industry is the most inefficient and wasteful in the world, a result of lax government regulation a general lack of competition. American food waste is indeed a large issue, but it's a better issue than China's food import reliance. As shown in the video, with dozens of studies proving it, the Chinese government has said they have taken steps to fix these problems, but they either haven't or have done so very slowly and inefficiently, as there has been an increase in pollution and waste, rather than a decrease. This talk about work, talk and respect, sounds a lot like propaganda, as it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Americans are the 10th most working nationalities, and that coupled with our work efficiency, makes us the best workers out there, and we also get one of the best work environments, benefits, and retirements around the world. The Chinese don't make it in the top 40, and their efficiency is laughable, along with their lack of proper work comp, benefits, insurance, or retirement. The CCP clearly cares little about its working people, so you shouldn't care about the CCP elites.

@fallofrome473 The ancient Chinese culture and religions of antiquity were completely destroyed by the CCP. During the great leap forward, Mao destroyed the 4 Olds: Old Ideas, Old Culture, Old Habits, and Old Customs.
Religion cannot be practiced in the CCP, and to this day the Chinese people have been unfortunately stripped of any and all beliefs and replaced with a new version of legalism.
In America, nobody cares if you're atheist, you have a right to be whatever you want, in fact, around 10% of the US population is atheist, and most of them are young people.
Confucius doctrine is not a religion, but a philosophy, which everyone has had since the start of time, and is around 100 years younger than the Greek philosophers.
It doesn't matter how old a philosophy is, but how successful and widespread it is, and by those terms, the best and most successful of all philosophies is the Western European philosophy of pragmatism, which allowed Europe to conquer the planet, and has now spread to basically every civilization on the globe.

Texan rap has gone down to 13,000, down from 20,000 in 2015, when Gregg Abbot came to office. Compare that to California, who constantly brags about its progressive policies but has seen rap skyrocket from less than 9,000 in 2015 to over 21,000 in 2021.
Texan crime has consistently decreased since 2015, while California, as we all know, has seen drastic and continued climbing numbers of all crimes.

@妮姆芙-o3z The media is a bunch of corporatist globalist bullshit, and yes, for the old folk who don't pay much attention, they lie for their own interests just as much as any other news around the world does.
Americans didn't enter Korea until after most of the country was taken over by the northern communist invaders. That has nothing to do with Taiwanese people not wanting to be part of China.
Taiwan is not China. Ask any Taiwanese whether they consider themselves Chinese and you will see the truth for yourself. There is literally nothing stopping the Taiwanese government from having Xi over and declaring themselves a province of China. If Taiwan wanted to, they could join China, but clearly, they are a separate free entity that wants to stay independent.
What are you talking about "smeared" LMAO America LOVES Japan. Japanese media, Japanese fashion, Japanese movies, Japanese cars, Japanese tools, and all kinds of Japanese consumer products. There is nothing stopping Japanese products from being sold - free trade with the Japanese is very lucrative for them. I have Japanese tools in my garage, hell, even the bidet I use is Japanese lol.
The Plaza Accords depreciated American currency which was good for other countries, not America. It was signed by many free nations willingly.
All the debt that Japan has to america is because of their dying society. Their economy collapsed in the early 90s and has stagnated ever since, never being able to repay the loans granted to them when they were booming at the rate China is today.
A debt trap is when a government gives out loans that it knows another country won't be able to pay, and then uses their debt to secure geopolitical gains. Japan's debt isn't to the US government, but rather to hundreds of companies which invested in it when everything seemed to grow in the late 80s, which then backfired with their collapse in the 90s.

@妮姆芙-o3z I know this well. Currently, the Chinese suffer under an authoritarian government while us Americans are under threat of corporations on the brink of becoming the exact same all-powerful murderous entity.
I know these news, and so does my family, my community, my people, and the entire libertarian right, which I associate with politically. I don't like corporation or government taking my rights and liberties away, which is why I use Tor, a vpn, and a proxy to assure neither Google nor the Government knows who or where I am.
It's bad in China, and it's getting bad here too, but thanks to the founding fathers, I have a right to own firearms and so does the very discontented rest of the nation.
Democracy is slow, but ultimately fair. We are voting the corporations out of their spying, and if that fails, there's always what we call watering the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants aka what the Chinese call "the mandate of heaven"

This isn't about Trump. The right supports Trump because he's the only man in politics that isn't part of the establishment. Everyone, either rep or dem, is corrupt and downright evil. The only reason you have yet to see an uprising is because we don't have a real leader yet. Leftists politics are incoherent and will not be able to maintain a stable society, so the only thing they end up doing is giving the current elite more power out of sheer idiocy and inaction. Trump just represents American hatred of the swamp, the elite, the rich 1% who work with politicians to maintain their riches/power. Leftists think that there's some inequality to fix, and the only way to do it is to give the government more power, which just gives the elite even more power since our rulers are the same rich people who the left hates.
The right is boiling over with hatred, and the only thing stopping Americans from hanging their disloyal representatives is the hope that Trump or Desantis will fix everything. They won't. The post-WW2 world order is ending at the same time that American politics are coming to peak tension. The rest of this decade is going to be a shitshow. After Trump, we will see the rise of a relatively young, militant, charismatic, extremely right-wing libertarian leader who will be everything the current left thinks Trump is.
I hope Trump does disappear, because he is blinding the american people. People think that he or someone like him will fix everything. What happens when inevitably, he doesn't? When it is clear that peaceful policy change fixes nothing? It is better that he disappear sooner than later, so that the fight can begin before people suffer in poverty and starvation.

@neinstein-says Nukes are as much of a threat to us as it is to it. If we're gone, we can't generate energy, so it destroys itself by destroying us. Also, nuclear war would wipe out billions, but a lot of nations would survive mostly in the southern hemisphere. Humanity wouldn't even be close to extinction after nuclear war. The main reason people believe nukes would wipe us out is radiation + nuclear winter, but modern nukes are a lot more efficient with their fuel meaning they spread much less radiation. Even if radiation was a problem, look at Hiroshima, it was nuked decades ago and people have been living there safely since the 90s. Radiation would make places uninhabitable for a generation or two, but that's a really short time in the scope of human history. Also, nuclear winter is a myth. If all of the nuclear weapons we have right now were detonated at ground level, they'd release less particulates into the atmosphere than all of the currently active volcanoes now. If AI is capable of destroying us, it is also capable of understanding it needs us to exist, and that nuclear war wouldn't be the end of us but probably the end of it.
