  2. The ANC has the same peasant mentality that trapped Russia into a Soviet nightmare - the idea is that wealth is guaranteed - you only have to worry about sharing it. The ANC has systematically gone about destroying or maiming all wealth generating structures in the country based on the simple idea that they can simply take wealth and share it among their followers.

  5. The promise of Nelson Mandela was that once the blacks took power they would work together with the whites to build a great nation. What happened was as soon as Mandela left power they started to demonize the whites. Every single 'golden goose' in sight was slaughtered - seeing the writing on the wall - the educated whites left, the international capital left, eventually - hope itself left this land. It is steadfastly on the path to becoming a larger version of failed state that is Zimbabwe. All the while the ANC pays only lip service to proper economic policy - preferring stealth communism instead.

  12. 30 years ago South Africa had the #1 electrical supply in the World - not only rock solid but also the cheapest. The thing is - power plants only last 50 years - so the ANC 'stole' the money for replacement plants for cadre deployment - local lingo for redirecting political lackeys into positions where they can enrich themselves.

  14. The Gold ran out long before the ANC lost their way. What the ANC needed to do was to avoid demonizing white people - both local and foreign - and work with them instead - but it was easy politics to play the blame game - so the best white wealth creators left and the foreign investors (mostly white) silently redirected their money elsewhere.

  15. There is no other game in town for the poor - they cannot get employment - they cannot self employ themselves - so they can only rely on hand downs from politicians, crime and the odd NGO. Seventy years ago the black population of South Africa was 13M not it is probably north of 45M.
