  1. The video describes the problem but misses the cause. The cause is that the ANC made a pivot towards communism when Zuma was appointed. They let it be known (via Julius Malema) that they would like to nationalize the mines, the banks and all farmland. At this point all foreign investors (whom the country was financed by) pumped the brakes as hard as they could and crossed it off their list of future options. The ANC tried to laugh it off repeatedly referring to WMC - White Monopoly Capital as though it was an evil rather than the money that pumps the bellows of the economy.
