  1. Large inflexible engineering is usually created by large inflexible organizations. On the other hand, there are those who with 10x less resources beat out all competitors - SpaceX, Cray in the above video, Google search and so on because they are agile. If you are an inflexible organization you are going to injure yourself trying to do flexible things ( see the Boeing 737 Max Fiasco) - but conversely don't cry when you become the next Kodak, Blockbuster, Yahoo or IBM because somebody else was flexible.
