  1. Young single employees will work twenty two hour days including weekends to ship on time because they 'are still proving themselves'. And for peanuts. Once you have a family and a life outside the office it is no longer possible to be a slave, so you go home for supper. The irony is that if you ask younger employees if this system works they will say it does...it is just hard work rewarded...seemingly ignorant that time marches on. The real solution is that younger employees refuse to sign up because they recognize their distant yet certain fate, but alas - young people will queue round the block to work for brand name tech companies.
