  3.  @obsidianjane4413  Not everyone managed. In 1948-1952 tens of millions died of starvation in China. In 1983 to 1985 as much as 1 million died and 7 million had their lives ruined by famine. To say nothing of what happens when there is enough food but not enough for education, security, electricity.

  4. Status quo never works because sooner or later someone outside the firm innovates. Look at cars - today Tesla is worth 8x more than GM and Ford combined.
