  1. I disagree with the the ending argument of the video that the struggle is between control and freedom. Rather, I would frame it that the struggle is to find a balance between too much control and too much freedom. Having lived in a country which oscillated from complete control to complete freedom during my lifetime I can comment from first hand experience that too much freedom (and a lack of control) quickly creates a free-for-all society of warlords, thieves and opportunists - one in which ordinary people suffer just as much as under the iron boot of authoritarianism.
