  1. Someone once said: " 'One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'" Note that He did not say "One can live without bread and needs only the Word of God". Just as one should not accept slavery willingly, there is the opposite risk that throwing off the yoke also means destroying that which provides your livelihood, even if it is 'stolen from you'. It is for this reason that normally every bloody uprising soon gives rise to a nation just as willing to be enslaved as the previous one, in order that they might 'buy bread', pay their mortgage and send their children to school. Rather than strive towards drastic revolution it is recommended one try to bring balance and curtailment to national power through progressive and gradual approaches rather than destructive ones. Of course, this requires a significantly high level of general consciousness in the voting public, something that is many places today is sorely lacking.

  2. For the most part that is correct. But throughout history there were times when the general population temporarily woke up and set things right, only to later relapse. So is a sheep who can become a man something cut-and-dried or is it an eternal struggle each man wages inside of himself, a choice, to be a man or a sheep on that given day?
