  4. Thing is, the average size of a car/truck in the US is so large that you literally cannot buy the smaller cars that are very viable in other countries. If you are in an accident you will be pancaked. To say nothing of girth sizes.

  6. Its not absurd, in other countries the cheapest cars sell well simply because many can ONLY afford that car and even then it is a stretch. Americans just don't realize how wealthy they are in comparison to many other countries.

  7. If you look at models sold in the US available in other countries - the lowest spec model in the US is usually the highest spec elsewhere.
