  1. China is currently fighting with the West. As a result, Chinese real estate has crashed leaving multi-generational bonds underwater. This means they cannot draw down on their bonds to fund a new car, and they likely don't qualify for car finance, so the Chinese car market drops. They need to export but import tariffs elsewhere make this impossible.
