  1. This credit is small potatoes compared to the constant government assistance Ford/Gm and oil companies get. If they cancel ALL subsidies Tesla will quickly win the entire US market - people might have to pay $5000 more a vehicle but they will soon realize they are happy to do that.

  2. 9 out of 10 meat drivers admit to speeding. Of those who say they don't speed - 99 out of a hundred will speed within any given year. Speed is irrelevant - road deaths is what matters.
