  1. Most Lithium is Chinese, and Toyota would have had difficulty accessing it. Not the same for Chinses companies.

  3. All the Chinese EV makers are owned and funded by the CCP. They will pick a few and move the staff from the others to the chosen few. They are all effectively one company.
