AI (and later robotics) is going to kick 90% of professionals in the nuts. Try to think who is safe and you get a very short list.

I don't think that is the plan. The plan is instead of having 3 senior and 3 junior PHDs you run with 2 Senior and one of these agents (who can work 10x the speed). Think 2030 and not 'July'.

No. They will need the data. Unlike with deepseek, nobody will be given high speed access to the API to allow for distillation. They will protect it because it is worth real money.

Whats missing is a very large context without forgetting. The context for most real world programs probably going to need something like 100M tokens of input. Since the cost of adding context is geometric it will slow things down a lot. You might need your own dedicated instance with an H100 for inference. Or it might need to run overnight - just like in the punch card days.

It will have 10% accuracy for agent tasks. OpenAI one will come out with 80% accuracy.
