  1. The problem is trust. The majority of people are just not ready for an economy based on trust and empathy, they can only see the World through their own nature - dog eats dog, survival of the fittest. The Soviet experiment required trustworthy leaders, but instead corruption became widespread and it collapsed. If you can find a nation of high empathy, high trust people - it does not matter so much what type of economy they have - it all just works well - for example, the Scandinavian nations seem to fit this mold.
