  1. I think Robert Reich is correct that life was better when unions were commonplace, but I think he is wrong that they were better BECAUSE unions were commonplace. The reason America's middle class shrank was because the rest of the World grew theirs. In 1960 the US was 40% of the World Economy and has now shrunk to 24%. In 1960 the US was exporting tractors advanced goods - now it imports them, simply because the rest of the World started making better ones cheaper. Bringing back unions will not fix America.

  2. Elon's pay package is straw man argument - it was for growing the company to 10x its previous size - so he literally created 100 000+ jobs out of a small company. Ex-Tesla employees are instantly hired by competitors - so they don't sit at home and rot. Edit: grammar
