I think the opposite is going to happen - Open AI will allow others to build highly capable agent swarms on top of its technology and the cost of these will be thousands, or even millions per month.

  3. China may want to prove itself but it knows it cannot get into a shooting war with the US. The reason is that China is heavily dependant on imports, food in particular, and the US has cut them off in the South China Sea - no Chinese ships would get through.

  9. There is a rebuttable presumption that AI can never be smarter than its training data. Since it needs massive data and most data is generated at IQ100 it is very hard to increase it intelligence beyond a certain point, doubly so for physical world scenarios.
