  2. It's not so easy to deal with a property you can't live at because you got to live somewhere else to make money. You got to pay someone else to do the work, you may not have that money. Then you figure you can let it sit while you work up the money and then you'll repair it after that. But price of living goes up and your wages stay the same. And before you know what that house is dilapidated. So be careful before blaming the younger generations. They were born into this.

Not saying that everyone who enlisted must be given a hard time, it depends on whether or not they're going to be homeless without it or something. But being angry and bitter is a perfectly healthy response to being mistreated and used. We should stop pathologizing anger and bitterness. It takes a truly insane person to not feel angry and bitter at mistreatment.
