It's not irrational to wish to go on living. We are part of a larger biome. We have a role to play and we contribute to biodiversity. Besides, cutting it short is a waste. Human beings grow in wisdom and other things as we age, so to keep that ball rolling is completely rational. Nihilism is banal and completely off the rails. It's incredibly interesting that male persons have the hardest time just accepting this fact. It's like they are separated a couple of degrees away from nature and can't understand the sensibility of existence begetting existence. It does make sense though that the humans who give life find it easier to understand. And so we look at male philosophers quizzically because they sound silly. Of course, these male philosophers interpret that as female stupidity. It couldn't be farther from the truth. Really, it's projection on their part. :-)

@nelsonx5326 i read the first few sentences... yeah dude. the will to live is strong. we weren't debating that. i was talking about how the will to live is RATIONAL.
