That's why they don't do right by students. Because they are literally engineered to do the opposite. To make the school system good for kids it's like trying to get a tiger to be vegan. They just aren't and they never will be. It wasn't built for that. Protesting will do nothing. Begging for permission will do more nothing. Or really it's worse, begging for permission and protesting for changes supports the system by legitimizing it.
