@giant0mantis False. Legally, what's "necessary" is very definitely subjective. One law will say that something is necessary the next will try to omit what the previous law included. Necessity is in the eye of the beholder. The second amendment calls something necessary. That doesn't mean that necessity is any less subjective. As for whether militias are necessary the second amendment says essentially that the collective militia is. This is mostly a pointless discussion past that. We can go round and round on it. On the other hand, the more objective facts can be had when discussing whether or not militias are legal: It is not the case that militias are illegal. The wokeist media will try to paint them as being such in all 50 states but they're lying. There are plenty of groups that constitute militias in all 50 states. And they could not realistically be prosecuted for being such.

@giant0mantis Neither did I say that they weren't necessary. I'm saying it's subjective and it's not a useful subject. The 2A does say that they are necessary. But the more important question is the question of legality.
