I'll just be in jail and that's it, like Yashin or Navalny, except nobody would even write about me or know about me. Currently in Russia you can only protest alone, there's literally 0% chance to organize anything, as soon as you post about organizing it - police is already there and taking people 1 by 1 as they come.

Otherwise it's a voluntary compensations and not reparations. And punishments... What are those "punishments"? It's a weird term, not exactly sure what you mean by that.

Just look at what you did: "protests in Russia won't happen", "we hate you, you're all guilty", "you and your offsprings will be PUNISHED" It doesn't even make sense. If protests in Russia won't happen and it's all "hoping and coping", then how will Ukraine win exactly? What reparations are we talking about then? It's a war for 10-20 years to come if protests in Russia won't happen. Putin has enough resources to make & buy basic rockets and drones for DECADES.

Anyway, another revolution is not impossible, but ONLY after his machine of repressions loses decent amount of money. So... Sanctions. More sanctions please. And i'm saying this as a russian living in Russia. Oil & gas embargo should be done and fast.

  24. From a russian POV (my pov) actively simping for Ukraine may be beneficial if you're in the EU/US/EN since democratic governments there NEED public pressure in order to continue providing weapons to Ukraine. And letting Russia win here is a direct path into more wars later.

And yet, russian citizenship still works there, as it should. Because the world is more complicated than you think. Regular citizens doesn't equal the government. Regular citizens doesn't equal war criminals. Regular citizens doesn't necessarily support the whole thing. True russian patriots protest & go to jail (they would never burn their passport). Your analogy with nazi germany doesn't work because regular german citizens weren't condemned & considered nazis after the war.

  26. See? No official war declaration even now. You know why? (Some) Russians support this "patriotic" BS theater on the TV called "Special Military Operation Against Nazis" and not an actual war. Putin can't officially declare anything because he fears his own people. He can't use nukes because he fears for his own life. He can't do anything at this point but lose, and now he will try to prolong his time. Your job is to ensure your western politicians won't back off like Macron, since you actually have some influence on your country politics. I'm russian and i'm not ready to go to prison yet since i'm no hero, but i think my job is to educate some people like you on what's actually going on - RIGHT NOW YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING TO STOP THE WAR - any sanctions are possible now. You can even use your military to free Ukraine, you can even kìll putin at this point. He can't do anything - he already lost.

  34. Because not being half-ukrainian is pretty uncommon in ru. Also, there's a lot of examples of half-jewish reasonable russians, look at Max Katz or Garry Kasparov. Mikhail Khodorkovsky is pure russian i'm pretty sure, more than half of Navalny's team are pure russians. Also, if you have relatives in Ukraine it's easier & faster to break through putin's propaganda & lies, obviously.

  45. Eh, only small % left. But those who left can at least talk freely & spread their message, including spreading it among russians. A lot of those who left already talked enough to end up in jail on return, and you say it's right to send them back? Also, a lot of those who left had enough money to leave - a lot of them are IT guys etc., sending them back would fill up putin's economy. If you think you can FORCE people into violent revolution, think twice.
