  4. 2008 conflict. First putin's aggression outside of Russia's borders. No wonder some georgians hate russians. Also, some russian tourists tend to be drunk/rude/uneducated (I say this as a russian living in Russia)

  6. How can you know why russians flee exactly? Also, how would you separate actual political immigrants from economical ones? And even economical immigrants hurt putin's ecomony, btw. "Sanctions are meant to have russian citizen feel the impact" eh, no? They are meant to hurt putin's war machine so he can't continue the war. "Revenge on russian citizens" mentality wouldn't work and it's destructive. Imagine if someone was fighting putin from 2012 (Bolotnaya protests) and now the whole world wants to hurt him and wouldn't let him leave Russia & escape putin's machine of repressions, that's kind of insane, right?

  13. It's not easy. Putin was doing everything from the start of 2000's to avoid that. Before destroying other countries putin destroyed any political life in Russia.

  14.  @Gary-Seven-and-Isis-in-1968  Hmm... Putin & his TV only celebrates WW2 victory but not the revolution, not really. Since he came in power it became less and less of a celebration. Anyway, another revolution is not impossible, but ONLY after his machine of repressions loses decent amount of money. So... Sanctions. More sanctions please. And i'm saying this as a russian living in Russia. Oil & gas embargo should be done and fast.
