  8. 1) The US/EU military support is not unlimited, they emptied a lot of stuff already 2) Why would the Russians abandon their own fortified positions? They won't go anywhere

  15. The US wants peace talks so it pushes Ukraine to do a final blow without proper equipment. Then they will say to Ukraine "look, we did everything we could, you did everything you could, so let's have peace talks now". The US wants to switch it's attention to China/Taiwan issue and domestic elections. There was 0 chance of peace talks without this bloody offensive, because that would mean absolute political death to Zelenskyy & his party. Now Zelenskyy can justify peace talks with Russia to some degree by saying "we did everything we could".
