  1. I personally think credit cards are bad news, unless the balance is paid back on the due date. I think the 80s and 90s the credit industry was risky. Some people being credited three times their annual salaries. The government came down on the industry in regards to the banking crash, in the U.K. They can still charge their own rate of interest but there are strict guidelines. They have to freeze during persistent debt. And you can only use credit card to purchase goods, can't pay of debt on other cards. I watched my sister use them, maniac with a card. So, unless the balance is paid of on the date, and it's money upfront then I don't see the good they can do
