This is real. Spoke to an homeless person and was caused by benefit sanctions and applying for jobs that are doomed anyway. It's ploys and tactics used by the job centre. The thing common the people was isolated in not having support in any other way. I know for sure the job they made him apply for had major problems. They were cutting staff (entire back shift). So it was doomed at the start.

Being honest! The job I have today, (worked there over five years) it wasn't the job I hope for. It was something I found within the company that made for better incentive. This could be the meaning about "hidden vacancies". Sometimes researching the companies that are employing people is a better starting place. What I found hidden within advertised vacancies, a lot of cons and sales/marketing... time wasters!!! I can see the point with CV (but that's a one in a million chance). The more substance vacancies usually have their own application procedure. I found its a mind field how employers advertise, so the old school could be compromised because of the web. I must say that "nothing with any substance came from jobsites"!!!

It's been an issue long before Eastern European workers for skilled/semi skilled workers in the UK. So that problem existed long before so.. The resentment about Eastern European built. For me it makes no difference and have worked with European. Agree some of the attitude is not to work. So lost work ethic, I dont see a mad rush for these jobs should they leave. Reason I say that because you cannot with that nativity. I don't think it's even about pay structures. A lot went in recession and education so not that surprising.
