I'm think it's awful the social decline in Torquay. It was one of the places I visited when I lived in Exeter and it was lovely not really a commercial place like Blackpool but nice café and cream teas, few friendly pubs. I moved back to the northwest in 2004 and that was due to the risk of homeless and the housing situation. Being honest, the decline is nationwide. I mean in my own town there is homeless and there never use to be there due to the housing stock that is gradually declining. Being honest, the council here do actively combat the issues of homelessness and anti social behaviour, I'm not saying its brilliant but the council do actively deal with these issues. So, perhaps that is what Torquay should do, tackle the council, get the MP involved and make them do their job. The things I liked with Devon was the nature attributes, but I was more a homely person. Its sadden me to see this place in a state. That woman having her coffee and donut 🍩 I do the same. There is a shelter in my home town it cost them £20 but its a stepping stone for support. The brick charity is based here. Wigan ❤❤
