I don't wish to be objective, but I disagree with the theme to stock piling. My reason for believing that mainly it causes jolts within the food market that causes profiteering by "panic buying". And the down side is although that food product is available the demand dictates how long that product remains on the shelf. That will either limit supply to vulnerable persons and when retailers have to limit supply. Although covid and climate change together with climate and political factors having a impact. For instance a few years ago there was snow in Spain that incurred export tax, but not availability. Food is mass produced and they over produce because of used by and sell by dates it has to go that day. Either sent to food banks. I just ask people to read between the lines and see it like it is .
