  1. I lived in the south (Exeter) for large part of my 20s and 30s. I was born in Lancashire and while I was in the south I was successful in my career. I found that employers welcoming towards outside gaps. So the north and south divide isn't really a divide between people... . I'm glad I made that move but most of my education and training was in the north. I was alarmed when I return to north between 20.06/20.07. It was the social aspects and maybe look at funding. Same delusion that was there before I left. The twist is about expectation towards the north.. in the south background in education if they drop out it's a real shame. So maybe there is a lot to learn from each other. Time I moved to Devon there was a lack of skill.The housing situation is another problem and cost of living. I think it starts with education and lot is to do with perception and people's aspiration.

  2. I sympathize with those caught up with these benefit changes. This government is swayed with the notion "Running Man". That means passing the book, vindication of fault. They do this using the private sector. So merely it's the brush off. It wouldn't be bad if the system is design to work, but it paralysed from the start. The type of jobs they fix with are not made to last... So they are feeding of people's vulnerabilities. A lot is to do with bureaucrat and Goerge Osborn and the vendetta on the poor. Nothing will change in this country until we jail these nits that have been exploiting this country for decades. Country gone to the dogs.

  4. Truly, Amazon has become a household name. However, their human resources are diabolical. There are other companies using this pattern. Using zero hour and agencies/temps is away of getting around the work contract. They're suppose to work 13wk. The company I work for use the zero hour but contract them after. However in my department it's specific training and if anyone is there on zero hour there'll be a limited task for them to do. It's to do with liability. While there they're entitled to same breaks, same rates of pay. Meets the living wage and overtime rates of pay. Normally happens if they show potential they'll be given regular hours in a department. They'll be regular hours and on a set pattern. It's ussualy 8 hours a day. Anything above those hours reflects with pay. The company recognise staff moral and effect on productivity.

  5. I got the alert on Samsung Galaxy S22. The sound was enough to alert me and lasted for a few seconds, then displayed the message alert from the government. I've no real concern about being messaged, but I am a bit puzzled to what is the come. Perhaps I'm going to be bomb 💣 😂😂 are they planning or know of some terrible thing to come 😂😂 it's just a message. Probably, the old Air Sirens have rusted .

  6. Either he said "silly woman" or "silly people". There is too much commentary anyway. Don't view this as sexist. But the same standard of some politician referring to Muslim looking like mail box. However, all this has nothing to do with anything. Same Punch & Judy show.

  7. I don't think abolishing private schools is the right thing to do. However I think the education system should be transformed to do with diversity and equality.. ie shouldn't be discrimination on income groups. I honestly think its imprudent and short sighted in the long term.
