  1. That’s a silly thing to take offense at. The body was found in the Republic of Ireland, where “Derry” is the usage. Even in Northern Ireland, “Derry” and “LondonDerry” are used interchangeably, and it depends on whether you are referring to the City or County or the government district, as well as personal preference. It wasn’t until The Troubles that it became a bone of contention. Nowadays the rancor has subsided considerably and people try to get along.
