  1. That’s not always the case, though. There are some plants which only make store brands. Also, a grocer with store brands can switch suppliers anytime. Shoppers expect consistency from a major label, but not for house brands. Campbell’s Bean with Bacon condensed soup is always the same. Libby’s canned pumpkin is always the same (important with Thanksgiving coming soon!). Some house brands might be identical to a premium brand, but you don’t know for certain. You just have to try a product and judge for yourself.
