If the EU dismantles NATO, the alliance between Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom will continue and will be based in the UK. Iceland and Norway will be welcome. Greenland also, but it is a possession of Denmark, an EU nation. I don’t know how that would work.

The only demented people are Trump and the Trumplicans who are pretending that Trump hasn’t lost the election. In fact, Trump lost big. Biden’s share of the vote was the largest against an incumbent President since FDR defeated Hoover in 1932.

The USA should probably move its military hospital from Germany to Gibraltar. Better location, anyway.

The electoral college vote; they do not “confirm” the votes. You don’t even know how the process works. Take a civics course, if there is such a thing anymore.

Biden is the President-Elect. He has a substantial majority of the Electoral College. He will become President on 20 January 2021. People who think otherwise are delusional.

I agree. Biden (and others) try to placate the Irish lobby, but the relationship with the United Kingdom is the main thing. Johnson should respect the Belfast Agreement, which the United States helped produce, but Brexit should proceed in any case and the United States should help a sovereign United Kingdom succeed. We (in the USA) want a good relationship with the UK.

The European share of NATO expenses may have been an issue for Trump, but it is not all that important to the citizens of the United States. We hardly ever think about European issues over here.
