  2. MKE Dan — The 1970s and 1980s were the worst years for American cars. The GM cars sold today are the best they have ever made. As for GMC trucks, it used to be that all Chevrolets, and only Chevrolets, were sold by Chevrolet dealers. The GMC pickup was available to Buick, etc. dealers who did not sell the Chevrolet marque. The GMC was a little more upscale to distinguish it from Chevrolet and appeal to Buick and Cadillac customers.

  7. We have a 1st-generation Cruze. It’s an excellent value. We compared it to the Civic and bought the Cruze. We don’t regret it. I’m sorry to see the Volt dropped. The 2nd-generation Volt is the only electric car I would have bought. It would have been a good alternative to our Cruze but we don’t have a place to plug it in. The Volt sold few units but had a high customer satisfaction rating. Meanwhile, you see Prius everywhere, like cockroaches. It’s a shame.

  13. When I think about towing, I conclude that diesel is the best alternative because of its energy density and torque. Get a full-size diesel pickup. Put your gear in the pickup. Get a car carrier trailer and tow your Tesla on the trailer
