  1. Of course the “left” should vote for Biden. Anyone who is so far “left” as to not understand that is just out of it, so please just stay out of it. I use quotation marks because I reject the simplistic one-dimensional model of “left” and “right.” People and politics are not one-dimensional. Glad to hear that Chomsky is saying something sensible.

  2. Ranked choice voting fixes nothing. I live in an area with ranked choice. We get people just as stupid or more so in office. You will not get good government merely by tinkering with the voting rules.
