  1. R.C. Whitehead — Watson wasn’t searching for truth. He was just spouting off. Science isn’t done that way and Watson would know it if he weren’t becoming feeble-minded.

  2. All that has been done is to revoke titles which are purely symbolic, as Watson has been retired for some time. This was done to disassociate Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from Watson’s personal views. He remains free to say any stupid thing that pleases him.
