  2. Some newer cars automatically put the transmission in neutral if you are stopped too long.

  3. I have a trash bag on my shifter. There's nothing heavy in it, just paper scraps, and I don't have a park/neutral safety switch. I have an Eaton manual. There must be some kind of sensor, because my truck knows what gear I'm in, but I think I'll leave my bag there and empty it often.

  4. He misspoke. He should have said just put the $10 in when it's about half full instead of running it to near empty.

  5. He said to do it within the speed limits. The idea is to get the RPM up, not the MPH.
