  2. James Whyard — No, it is not unstable. It requires trim like every other jetliner. It requires more trim than the previous model (NG) because the engines are more powerful.

  3. Ed Estrella — It was mainly the disregard for fail-safe design in MCAS. That’s what can cause the flight controls to go berserk. Couple that with lack of information on what is happening and what to do about it and you have a disaster.
