  1. No, the unions are not the problem. Boeing's took a huge financial hit due to the two MAX crashes. The union had nothing to do with it. Union workers did not design the MCAS. Union workers did not decide to pretend the MAX didn't have a problem after the first crash. The blame goes to former CEO Muilenburg, and to the board, who supported him after the first crash until a second crash compounded the damage and forced them to replace him.

  2. You want to punish the passengers for Boeing's mistakes? I don't. I fly Alaska Airlines, mostly, and when the assigned plane is a MAX, I fly on it with no worries. I don't want to put Boeing out of the commercial airplane business; I want them to fix their problems.
