  1. That’s not the solution. If Boeing leaves the commercial airplane business, their place will be taken by Chinese airplanes. I don’t see how that is a good thing.

  2. There is no difference in safety between Airbus and Boeing. Boeing just gets more bad press.

  3. Responsibility starts with the Board of Directors. Boeing had a useless board at the time of the MCAS fiasco, and it is only marginally better today.

  4. The MAX 8 and MAX 9 are different models. The 9 is a little longer.
