  2. Devin Crum — Automatic trim is not new with this aircraft or with Boeing. Autopilots do this. MCAS adjusted trim when the autopilot was off and other conditions were met. It was just poorly i plemented and undocumented. Those problems have been fixed and are awaiting certification.
