  1. ab ba — Johnson is not extreme. Farage was the extreme “clean break now” candidate, Swinson was the extreme “stop Brexit” candidate, and Corbyn is just an extreme Marxist jackass. Johnson wants to be the one to deliver Brexit, but he doesn’t want to be viewed as extreme — hence the eleven-month transition period after the technical separation, but with a hard deadline because he doesn’t want any more delaying tactics.

  2. Ryan B — There was a general election in December, 2019. There need not be another election for five years. In the meantime, Johnson has a substantial majority.
