Be then it will be too late for a lot of things.

There wasn't time this year. Blame Biden. He should have withdrawn as a candidate at the beginning of his term, not the end.

Biden was not a flawed product. He did what needed to be done. He defeated DJT. Where the Democrats went wrong was in not treating Biden as a one term President from the beginning of his term. Someone that old should not be President. That goes for DJT also. The conclusion I draw from this fiasco of an election year is that a lot of voters just don't want a female president, because Harris is as qualified and as likeable as any woman.

Don't forget hatred and violence.

Electing a President is serious business. Thinking there is anything funny about it is irresponsible.

He may wear what he pleases. Nobody projects his views on you because of his clothing.

Fascism is not conservative.

It would be up to officials in each state to investigate any claim of fraud in their own election.

The "left wing" claim is misguided. Harris a centrist.

"left populism"? Who would that be? Sanders supporters? They elected DJT by sitting on the sidelines after he lost the nomination. Of course Carville, and other mainstream Democrats did their part by anointing Clinton the nominee without any other Democratic alternatives being considered. I didn't much like H. Clinton myself, but I voted for her. A lot of people who usually vote Democratic didn't as is clear from the reported vote totals. I think self-appointed populists are part of the problem.

The Democratic Party once dominated national politics. Nowadays they struggle, because they are out of touch with the people in the center. They embrace too many cockamamie ideas that turn people off. I don't mean the right wing, I mean normal moderate people who are willing to vote Democratic. Still, what happened is shocking. It's a huge setback. It started in 2016, when the Democrats didn't even offer alternatives to Clinton (Sanders is not a Democrat). I am retirement age also. The damage from this election will not be fixed in my lifetime. I hope the nation comes to its senses and gets back on track, but I won't be here to see it. I will just retire to my library and read about anything but contemporary politics.
