  2. She has free speech, but she does not have a right to be President of a university. The President speaks for the university, but is not, herself, the highest authority in the university. If her statements do not represent the university, that can be a reason for removal. Actually, a university president can be removed for any reason or no reason, because it is not an entitlement. She chose to resign rather than face possible dismissal.

  3. The Democrats and the Republicans were warned. Two or three years ago, a poll showed that the people do not want a rerun of the 2020 election. Why do the Democrats not have a better candidate? in the last election, they had 20 contenders. They have had four years to find a younger candidate to carry the party forward, but they have done nothing. It may cost them another loss to Trump. I hope not, but I am not voting for Biden. Both major oarties disgust me.

  7. While it is true that the Semitic people include others besides Jews, the term “anti-Semitism” was coined in the 19th century specifically to refer to behavior directed at Jews and Judaism. We continue to use the term in that way today. Arguing about the meaning of the term is just deflection.
